Ta da!  I humbly give you the third installment of my 2008 year in review picspam.    This time it's the gardeny stuff.  There isn't much from midsummer when everything was in bloom.  I'll be sure to take many this summer.

Snowdrops in April.  They were late last year because of the amount of snow we had.

Not sure what type of moss this is but it's so pretty.  The picture doesn't do it justice.

Wild violets peeping through the lawn.  I put off mowing the lawn until all the scilla, voilets and forget-me-nots have finished blooming.  This means our lawn is rather long when we do cut it.   I think we cut it a total of 5 times last year.   My neighbours mention it to us but I'd rather save the environment than look like cookie cutter suburbia thank you!  It's the country for pete's sake!   Whoa -where did that rant come from?  o.O

Love this picture.  I adore daffodils and narcissi.

I have a very boring spring colour palete.   I love yellow daffodils and red RED tulips floating on a sea of blue forget me nots. :D

A few bluebells mixed in for good measure.

The crab apple tree in front of our house is very old and scraggly looking but this past spring What a Show!  The blossoms were incredible!   I have to figure out how to save this tree when construction begins.

Leaves of the black currant bush.  JX loves red currants -black not so much.   He cleaned the red currant bushes as soon as they were ripe enough.

My ash tree in autumn.

Another bumper crop of tomatoes.  Unfortunately an early frost got ahead of my harvesting.  :(

Pretty pine cones just because.

My sage plant bravely raising it's leaves above the snow.

Marguerite daisy in the snow.   In the summer it has masses of creamy yellow flowers.

Sneaking this one in.  Sunshine through my hummingbird feeder.

Why hello there little bunny. :D

Thanks for looking!
